I don't sell computers, I just work on them. I maintain a very small inventory of commonly-needed parts, but purchase most equipment as it is needed. This allows me to keep my overhead to a bare minimum, which is how I am able to keep my fees so low.
Here is a list of services I provide to individuals and small businesses in the greater Lakes Region:
Computer Repair/Maintenance
Diagnosis of computer problems
Computer repairs (desktops and laptops) on IBM-based computers only (no Apples—sorry!)
Upgrades
Virus/spyware removal
Cabled and wireless home and small business networks
New equipment installation and configuration
Consultation/recommendations on new computer equipment needs, small business networks, home networks, etc.
My fees
For computer repair/maintenance services, if you are within 20 miles (one-way) of me, my fee is $45 an hour, with a one hour minimum, whether I do the work in your home/office or mine. If you are beyond 20 miles (one-way) from me, there will be an additional charge of $0.50 per mile (round trip) for every additional mile each time I visit your home or office. For example if you were 25 miles (one-way) from me, that would be 10 additional miles per trip, for an additional charge of $5.
Desktop Publishing Services
Need a brochure? Business cards? Letterhead? Flyers? — I can design them for you! Once you approve the final design, I supply you with a PDF file that you can print on your own printer, or take to a print shop or to Staples and have printed for you.
